About Me- Liam

I’m a CBT and Schema Therapist with experience supporting people through anxiety, depression, trauma, personality related difficulties, attachment wounds, and the impact of difficult early experiences. I also draw on DBT skills to help people build emotional stability and confidence in managing day to day challenges.

My wife and I founded this practice after many years working in the NHS. We loved the work, but we also saw how many people fell between the cracks — waiting too long for support, feeling misunderstood, or being offered approaches that didn’t quite fit their needs. We wanted to create a space where people could finally feel understood, supported, and given the right kind of help at the right time.

My style is calm, friendly, and focused. I believe therapy should feel safe and grounded, but also practical and purposeful. I work collaboratively, using shared formulations, worksheets, and evidence based strategies so you always understand what we’re doing and why. Many of my clients come to me after experiences where therapy hasn’t quite “got” them. My aim is to offer a space where you feel genuinely heard — perhaps for the first time — and where we can make sense of your patterns together.

I have extensive experience working with neurodivergent clients and adapt my approach to different communication and processing styles. You don’t need a diagnosis to feel understood here.
Ultimately, I’m here to help you understand what’s going on beneath the surface, develop tools that actually work for you, and move toward a life that feels more manageable, connected, and meaningful.
